Anybody know where Gai is at with this up and coming star for the Autumn? Light prep before a crack at the Caulfield Cup in the spring? He's not nominated for the Aus Cup, so I'm keen to see a Metropolitan Hcp market. I'm assuming that's what she has in mind for the Autumn? Ready to Lift quinella. Mmmm.. i can smell the cash already.
I think Gai is only giving him 3-4 runs this prep. I think its Autumn target could be Queen Elizabeth or the Ranvet? She will have it on song for the spring which could see him win a handy race, I aint sure which one.
I believe Gai is aiming at Doncaster, but that might be tad ambitious. He would want to have improved a few lengths. Handicap would be the way to go with him, so apart from Doncaster, what else is there ?
Dsterpicks is right! Gai had mapped out the Doncaster as the main aim for him this prep.... It was a great return and I really think he is a live chance in the Doncaster with a real light weight. When he comes back in the Spring would love to see him take a crack at the Cox Plate, he just seems the right kinda horse for the Valley with that great kick back, fight on spirit you need for a Cox Plate, plus he sits on the speed... Hopefully he can get there...
If he's each way or better why not have a little crack at him. After Typhoon Tracey's win in the Coolmore her odds will surely plummet. If Faulconbridge produces a big run in Cup today the same should happen.Don't worry about the moral's odds Murray - small fish are just as sweet.
