Centenary Classic Mile
Geez Tagus is really flying at the minute it's going to be hard to hold out, Pyramids has the potential to beat this lot and Majorca is a dry mile specialist.
PYRAMIDS should get me my money back from last week and some in this, he's just gotta get out of the barriers this time!!! go pyramids! win it eased up by three from regal castenea so i get the quinella:)
Aussie... The mail is tagus will not get beat! His work has been A+++!
Soiled for mine has great form and will cross and lead them from barrier 10. I reckon he will get some cheap sectionals and they won't catch him. Also a plus is peter robl who has been in good form this year and knows this horse very well
Feel a bit sorry for the connections of BARLINNIE, HEY ELVIS & PYRAMIDS.. BARLINNIE excels when 2nd up over 1400m but he drew barrier 20 on a heavy track in the Straddie.. HEY ELVIS looked great 1st up but for some reason his jockeys seem insistent on settling him near last (from good barriers) taking away the horse's advantage of being able to settle handy ala his G2 Villiers 2nd.. PYRAMIDS keeps missing the start and losing lengths in his races, if he jumps clean he shouldve won 1st up and been right in the finish the other two.. My only concern with all three of these horses is that this race would be an afterthought for all of them.. Its not what the stable would have had them peak for.. On the other hand they have not had things to suit so far so if the just hold their level of fitness maybe all they need is for 'things to fall into place' and they will get their deserved win?
bareena is well worth a look, good win last time out against a good horse.......
I thought tagus was the won but warming to Bareena.....just unders though
BAREENA will be vastly improved from its last start (thank you baby)... thought the value runner was PYRAMIDS... as MONEY suggests just needs to jump clean, smoke a pipe and whooshka.
Rags To Riches finally get a good track! with Colless dictating, should be very hard to beat. just hope recent hard runs haven't taken it out of the old boy, but Birchley is a fantastic trainer and surely wouldn't run him if he wasn't spot on
