Wilkes has agreed a two year deal with the club and goes straight into the squad for tonight's engage Super League game away to Bradford Bulls. He joined the Cumbrians after the end of last season after playing for Leigh Centurions in 2005. Speaking about the news Head Coach Ian Millward said, "Oliver is a player of potential and with our injury situation we have moved quickly to bring him to the club. He was a player we were looking at for 2007 but have moved now to add him to our squad."Oliver Wilkes said, "I am delighted to be given this opportunity and am looking forward to playing for the Wigan Warriors.
