Corey Parker has ensured he will be a one-club man after signing a new three-year deal with the WOW Brisbane Broncos.

Parker, who first signed a scholarship to the Broncos as a 15-year-old from the Logan Brothers club, inked a contract that will keep him at Red Hill until the end of the 2011 season.

"It is wonderful to sign Corey for three more years," said Broncos' chief executive Bruno Cullen.

"We are signing a player who has come through our development system from a young age, being a former Colt of the Year.

"He is a great asset to this club - he is now a senior mentor in the NRL squad, has become an 80-minute player, and a wonderful goal kicker to boot."

Cullen also said Parker's new contract showed confidence in the Broncos as they search for a new head coach.

"He has shown confidence in our club structure by signing before we announce our next coaching appointee," said Cullen.

"We hope this demonstrates that our coaching staff structure is respected by the playing group."

Currently in his eighth season of first grade with the club, the 25-year-old Parker said he was happy to stay in Brisbane.

"I have no real aspirations to go anywhere else," he said.

"I have always wanted to play for the Broncos and it is something I have been fortunate enough to do for quite a few years now.

"I am a Bronco through and through and owe the club a bit of a debt for helping me make that dream come true.

"And I certainly hope to stay with the club for quite a few years yet."

The news concludes a big couple of weeks for Parker, who broke the record for number of goals in a premiership match when he slotted 10 against the Panthers two weeks ago.
