Millard, Hayne, Naiqama and Sutton nominated for Civoniceva Medal

The Petero Civoniceva Medal Night in conjunction with the Fiji Australian Rugby League will be held this Sunday night with Daryl Millard, Jarryd Hayne, Wes Naiqama and John Sutton the four nominations to take out the big prize.

FIJI AUSTRALIAN RUGBY LEAGUE AWARDS (AFRL)

The actual Awards Ceremony will commence at 8pm.

"Petero Civoniceva will attend to present the award named after him at approximately 8.40pm."

The 3 main Awards of the night are listed on the attached Program.

Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes has named two debutants in the side to take on the Knights for the opening round of the 2007 NRL season.

"Daryl Millard and Kane Cleal played solidly in the Bulldogs two trial games and have been rewarded for their efforts," Folkes said.

Millard will partner Willie Tonga in the centres while Cleal has secured an interchange bench spot.

Winger Matt Utai and halfback Brent Sherwin are recovering from ankle injuries and were unavailable for selection.

In addition, Hazem El Masri is currently sitting on 1,990 points scored for the Bulldogs Club (all grades) and needs just 10 more to hit the 2,000 point mark.
