Hoffman signs contract extension with Storm

Australian Test star Ryan Hoffman has pledged his long term future to the Melbourne Storm by signing a new four-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2012.

The contract extension is great news for both parties with Hoffman an integral member of the Storm and established representative at both state and national level.

After making his Storm debut in 2003, Hoffman, 25, has now played 129 NRL games for the club.

Hoffman will be available for media comment after today's skills session at Princes Park.

The session commences at 11am. All welcome are welcome to attend.

Hoffman will be one of five Storm internationals making their maiden 2009 appearance in Thursday's first trial match against the New Zealand Warriors at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.

The strong-running Hoffman will be joined by Sika Manu and Dallas Johnson to form an all international back-row. 2007 Australian halfback Cooper Cronk and former New Zealand international Wairangi Koopu have also been included in Craig Bellamy's 22-man squad to face the Warriors.
