"It was a good turnout. The conditions were pretty poor at the weekend against Wigan but there was more there than I thought there would be, and for them to turnout again Monday night was excellent."In the short time he has been in England the former Wests Tigers Centre has expressed his delight with the commitment and attitude of the club and its players and insists he has settled in quickly at the Giants.
"It's been good, the guys are really good, and the club's been good, the weathers been average but apart from that everything is going nicely."Elford scored his first try for the giants in the win over Wigan and is very much looking forward to the opening game against champions St Helens on the 4th February and he is looks forward to the continued support from the fans and encourages them to turn out in numbers for the season opener.
"I can't wait for the Big one against St Helens. They are a good side and we are a good side. Hopefully we can get an excellent crowd down at the Galpharm to cheer us on in the season opener, I can't wait."Tickets are on sale for the game on Sunday 4th February, kick off 7.05pm. By pre-buying tickets fans can save £2 per adult bought and juniors under 12 can secure their ticket for free. This means that a family with two adults and a number of children can secure their tickets for just £33. Pre-purchased adult tickets are priced at £16.50. Saints fans are reminded that they can also earn 10% commission for their club by pre-purchasing from their club.
Giants Season Tickets are also still available offering terrific value. Adult tickets are just £200 and under 12's can secure a free season ticket. Children over 12 can get a season ticket for just £35 (including home and away Super League fixtures).

Source: www.giantsrl.comAfter arriving in the UK over the weekend Giants new signings Shane Elford and Jamahl Lolesi have reported for training and met up with their new teammates.
Elford whose mother was born in Bolton was pleased to arrive in Huddersfield:
"It's my first time to the UK even though my mum is from Bolton. It's cold but I am very excited to be here, I arrived on Saturday so I'm still a little tired.
"Training is good. All the guys seem great and very motivated. My fitness needs a bit of work on but it won't take me long to get up to speed."Lolesi is also pleased to arrive at the Giants:
"I'm really looking forward to the challenge. It was good to meet the boys and the sessions have been really enthusiastic. There is a good mix of youth and experience, it's very encouraging for the future of the club and I'm looking forward to a good season."Elford added:
"We both can't wait to get started, the Galpharm Stadium is superb.
