XXXX Queensland Maroons forward Neville Costigan has been ruled out of tonight's third Harvey Norman State of Origin match with a hand injury.

Dane Carlaw of the Brisbane Broncos is his replacement, having featured in 12 previous Origin matches between 2001-05.

Carlaw will wear jersey 19 in tonight's game.

Micheal Luck of the New Zealand Warriors as a standby player for tonight's third match of the 2007 Harvey Norman State of Origin series.
Luck, who has no previous Origin experience, will wear jersey 20 if required.

Dane Carlaw of the Brisbane Broncos has been called into the XXXX Queensland Maroons camp as the new 18th man.

Carlaw will join the team around lunchtime, having completed training commitments with the Brisbane Broncos this morning.

His place in the squad is merely to cover for any unforseen injuries in warm-ups etc. There is nobody in doubt for the game at this late stage.
