Morgan said: "Peter has plenty of speed and he has established himself well within the Super League competition this year, he is a player that will excite the fans and to have a finisher of his calibre on the end of our back-line will be a huge asset to the team."

The former Melbourne Storm player signed for the Gold Coast Titans in 2006 and soon became a member of their inaugural season. Jake formed part of a historic and very important group of originals at the Gold Coast Titans and is a welcomed addition to Morgan's squad for 2008.

The Kiwi international can play centre or wing, he will add speed and strength to the outside backs and is a fantastic finisher. He possesses a great mixture of power and vision and has the ability to capatilise on the smallest of chances enabling him to score tries with ease.

Morgan commented: "It's great for the club to be able to attract a player of Jake's calibre. Being able to sign a player with international experience and qualities demonstrates how far the club has come in recent years, and I'm sure he'll be a fans' favourite."

Webster said: "I have always wanted to play in the UK, and being given the opportunity to play in the Super League competition is a dream come true for me. I'm excited about what lies ahead and look forward to the challenges that Super League brings."
