Fri August 1, 2008 Source: www.leedsrugby.comIn this week's edition of Headingley Carnegie Insight Leeds Coach Brian McClennan looks ahead to the Rhinos clash with Warrington Wolves this Saturday at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 7:30pm How have the team reacted in training this week? Early in the week the players were feeling disappointed following the game against St Helens, but as the week has progressed they have picked themselves up and they are now looking forward to a great opportunity to get out there and play again on Saturday. We are lucky because week in week out we get the chance to go out and show what we can do, you don't get chance to sit around sulking because the next week you've got another game to play. How highly do you rate Warrington? We respect Warrington very much. We've had a tough game against them already this season, so we know we they will be a challenge. They are playing some good rugby at the moment and are fighting to finish in a good position for the play offs. They have come into good form so we are anticipating a tough game but we are looking forward to it. How have you dealt with the injuries in the side? Injuries are part of our sport and it is something we can deal with. We have used 30 players this season which is fantastic for us as it has given us an opportunity to give some young talent a chance to play and prepares us well for times like this. All of the players in the squad have first team experience, so no one will be making their debut tomorrow. News Source: www.leedsrugby.com |
