Central Comets bye

Source: www.qrl.com.auIn their last two outings, the resurgent Easts Tigers have piled on 74 points.
But it is the tally in another column which is bringing the most joy to Tigers coach Darren Smith.
"The most pleasing thing is our defence," said Smith, whose team thrashed Tweed 34-6 at Langlands Park on Saturday.
"In the last two games we've kept the opposition down to one try."
After opening the season with two losses, the Tigers have now added the 28-point drubbing of Tweed to their 40-4 annihilation of the Central Comets in round three.
All of a sudden the Tigers are running hot. But are they hot enough to end the Northern Pride's five-match winning streak?
The round six clash between Easts and the unbeaten Pride in Cairns promises to be one of the highlights of the round.
Smith could have a number of selection headaches throughout the week following the impressive form of forwards Fred Tila and Josh Griffith.
The pair came in for injured props Abraham Sila and Pat Gardner, two of the Tigers' better players in the previous week's win over Central.
Tila's performance on debut was particularly encouraging.
"He got his chance and made the most of it," Smith said of the boom youngster.
"If he keeps on progressing, he should be there a lot longer."
Tila made a number of strong surges in the first half for the Tigers, who led 12-0 at the break.
Easts were able to sail away to a comfortable win despite the return of crafty Tweed playmaker Brad Davis from injury.
The Seagulls have now lost all five matches, leaving their premiership defence in tatters.
Ian Donnelly scored Tweed's only try in the second half.
The Tigers had no problems crossing the line, with Wade Liddell (2), Liam Campbell, Kev Stephensen, Marcus Jensen and Anthony Boyd scoring.
