Source: www.weststigers.com.auWests Tigers have planned a feast of entertainment for the blockbuster match against Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium on Sunday, June 15.
The NRL match alone promises to be a thrilling contest with some of the game's brightest young stars in Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah and Chris Lawrence taking on the likes of Krisnan Inu and Feleti Mateo from 3pm.
One of the highlights of the entertainment will be the naming of the Police Team of the Century at half-time of the NRL match.
The team will be made up of former rugby league players who also served in the Police force. Nominees include Johnny Raper, Frank 'Bumper' Farrell and Paul Sironen.
The NSW Police Force will also hold demonstrations involving the police helicopter, police dogs and horses that will capture the crowd's attention.
Another highlight of the day will be the Wests Tigers 200 Years of History celebration whereby former players from Western Suburbs Magpies and Balmain Tigers will unite to celebrate their proud past.
More than 150 past players and their families have accepted their invitations to attend the unique function and re-live their past.
Wests Tigers supporters are encouraged to arrive early for what is shaping up to be an exciting Toyota Cup clash from 12.45pm.
Fourth-placed Parramatta take on the fifth-placed Wests Tigers with just one competition point separating the teams.
Gates open at 12.45pm. Tickets are available through Ticketek or www.weststigers.com.au
