Knights without Origin trio for Bulldogs clash
Tue June 3, 2008
Newcastle will be without key trio Danny Buderus, Kurt Gidley and Steve Simpson for Saturday's clash against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Gidley and Simpson join Buderus in the NSW side for game two of the State of Origin series.

Even though the trio will be missing from the Knights side, the most crucial player missing will be the Bulldogs best player Sonny Bill Williams, who is again struggling with injury.

Both sides lost on the weekend with Newcastle going down to the Warriors in a heart stopper at EnergyAustralia Stadium whereas the Bulldogs were embarrassed and humiliated by the Storm.
