Manly NRL and NYC teams for Cowboys clash at Gosford Tue May 13, 2008 Manly's strong form in recent weeks has been ignored by the representative selectors with only fullback Brett Stewart winning Origin selection.
The Sea Eagles have been boosted with Brent Kite and Matt Orford failing to make the NSW side despite Kite playing for Australia and Orford playing all over NSW halfback Peter Wallace last weekend.
Manly have moved their home match against the Johnathan Thurston-less Cowboys to Gosford's BlueTongue Stadium. It will be interesting to see what support Manly gets up at Gosford after the Central Coast locals chose to boycott the ill-fated Northern Eagles experiment, which their decision to actively boycott matches has since cost the region any chance of a future NRL position in the near future.
