Super League Results & Scores (Sun 25th Feb)
Mon February 26, 2007
Three Super League matches were played overnight with Wakefield, Harlequins and Warrington all enjoying victories.

Wakefield kept up their good early season form courtesy of 20 points from highly under-rated stand-off Jamie Rooney as he maintains his position at the top of the Super League point scoring lists.

Harlequins remain undefeated after three rounds with an impressive victory against Hull Kingston Rovers who experienced their first loss in their return season to the big time. Paul Sykes had a big match for Harlequins scoring two tries and landing three goals for a total of 14 points.

The feature Sunday match was the thriller at Halliwell Jones Stadium where a drop-goal in the final minute from Lee Briers was enough to keep grand finalists Hull FC winless in the new season. Briers who was sensationally dropped from the Great Britain squad last year again showed his tremendous value to the Wolves side through his leadership and kicking game.

Hull FC led 12-0 early on before the Wolves fought back to make it 12-all at the break. Warrington streteched the lead out to 22-12 and 24-18 before Hull FC leveled up the match when Matt Sing scored and Paul Cooke converted. A crucial knock-on from Paul King allowed Warrington to work themselves into field position and the modern day master of the one-pointer duly added to Hull FC's woes in 2007.

Full match reports and updated Round summaries available throughout the day.
